Stay in control
- Decide how much you can afford to lose before you start, and stick to it.
- Never chase losses or gamble with money you need for essentials.
- Set a time limit and take regular breaks.
- Do not gamble when upset, stressed or under the influence of alcohol.
Warning signs
- Spending more money or time than you planned.
- Borrowing money or hiding your gambling from others.
- Feeling anxious or irritable when you are not gambling.
Legal age
Only play if you are of legal age in your jurisdiction. Make sure you understand the laws that apply to you.
